We represent Austria’s digital economy, act as its voice towards politics and the public and facilitate communication within the industry. We provide our members with expertise and know-how in legal affairs, develop statements on relevant legislation, templates for general business terms and conditions or safety concepts. Furthermore we offer our members free training as part of the ISPA Academy. Additionally, we inform our members about developments at the national and European level and direct events like the ISPA Forum or the Internet Summit Austria. Through numerous cooperations, we can offer our members various benefits such as discounts for congress tickets or magazine subscriptions. Above all, we take our responsibility for society very serious, for instance through the so called Stopline – a hotline against child sexual abuse material and National Socialism founded by us – or free information material for the promotion of online media competence, especially for children and adolescents.

ISPA is the voice of the Austrian Internet industry. Our goal is to shape the economic and legal framework supporting the optimal development of the Internet and Internet services. We regard the use of the Internet as an important social skill and acknowledge the resulting socio-political responsibilities.
ISPA – the Internet Service Providers Austria - is the governing body of Austria’s Internet industry representing and supporting its members on a variety of fields. The advantages of membership are numerous:

With regular events we promote, inter alia, the (information) exchange and networking among our members, partners and other actors of the ICT-industry.
We organize for example workshops and information events such as the ISPA Academy covering a wide range of topics, in which experts share their knowledge with our members. In our industry events such as the ISPA Forum in spring or the Internet Summit Austria in autumn representatives from across the ICT-industry gather to discuss the latest issues and developments of the Internet with specialists.
Through cooperations with other companies and organizations ISPA members always receive special offers such as discounts for magazine subscriptions or event tickets.
The membership fee is charged per calendar year and is dependent on the number of votes in the general assembly of ISPA.

Stopline is the Austrian Report Centre against Child Sexual Abuse Material and National Socialism on the Internet. Internet users can contact the hotline in a simple and anonymous way and report illegal content with a report form, if they find the following content on the Internet:
Founded in 1998 by ISPA, Stopline’s main task is the removal of illegal content from the Internet, especially with regard to content which is hosted in Austria. It is operated as a commitment of ISPA and recognized and authorized by the public authorities.
Stopline is co-funded by the European Commission within the Safer Internet Programme. For a successful international approach, Stopline is a member of the worldwide hotline network INHOPE.
